Mumbai has always been very close to my heart. For years it has been my place of escape. I found solace in the city when I was suffering from heartache. The city wrapped me in its joys when I was lost and distressed. After visiting Mumbai for more than six times and living in Mumbai for a year, this vacation was again very special for me. I revisited each and every place that I used to frequent when I was in college. From going to the famous Parsi restaurant – Britannia to having Bachelors’ delicious chocolate shake I did everything that I could in four nights and five days. I was in Mumbai in February and the weather was hot and humid during the day and pleasant at night. Keeping that in mind and welcoming spring in style, I wore maxi dresses, cotton trousers and kurtis to beat the heat.
Day one was about keeping it easy and breezy with this asymmetrical cotton maxi that I picked up from Jaipur.
