Some of my fondest memories from my childhood have been of McDonald’s Happy Meal. Every time my parents would take me to McDonald’s they knew that I would want to order for a Happy Meal to get a toy with my burger, fries and soda. Years later, today I received the all new Chili burgers and Orange Fizz from McDonald’s to enjoy my meal with family and that is exactly what we did over the weekend.
The Chili burgers are available for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians and are priced from INR 59 plus taxes. The new burgers and drink are part of an all-day menu and are available through delivery and take-away counters from selective restaurants in North and East of India. The vegetarian Chili burger consists of a vegetable patty made with an assortment of vegetables – carrot, peas, French beans, potato and cabbage. The Chili non-vegetarian burger has a grilled chicken patty cooked with garlic, green and capsicum. The patties in both the burgers are spiced up with a hot chili sauce made with red chilies, tomato, onion, garlic, pepper, soy sauce and vinegar and then drizzled with shredded onions and packed in a lightly toasted bun. Both the burgers are also available with a choice of adding an extra patty to ‘double-up the taste’.
The drink – Orange Fizz has a refreshing tangy taste with flavors of Mandarin and a hint of Red Chili to beat the heat this summer. The Chili range will be available for a limited time in the McDonald’s menu at affordable prices. Would you like to try these burgers? Do share your reviews in the comments section below.
