After downloading and deleting snap chat twice from my phone, the third time I downloaded it I finally got a hang of it and I wouldn’t deny that now I am a Snapchat addict. More than checking-in on Facebook and uploading pictures on Instagram, I am constantly clicking pictures and chatting with my friends on Snapchat. It’s like my diary except that it’s not personal anymore. So after teaching the ‘how tos’ of Snapchat to my friends, I thought of sharing it with you all. It’s really no big deal and I’m sure that you will get plenty of guides online telling you the same but here is my attempt to simplify it for you and make you an addict just like me. To begin with, download Snapchat on your phone.
Click on this yellow icon.
As soon as you click the icon you will see the camera where you can click pictures and send it to people in your contacts or just put it on your story for everyone to see it by clicking on the blue arrow icon on the bottom right.
To share the image with a particular contact you just need to click on their name (that is when the star will become yellow) and down below on your right you again click on the white arrow and that is how your post gets shared. You can select multiple friends and share the same image with them.
Or you can click on ‘My Story’ and let everyone see the image that you just clicked.
You can also delete your snaps by using the trash icon on the top right.
Now to get special effects and fun animated characters all you have to do is, after clicking a picture swipe right to left. You can select the filter that you want.
For animated characters all you have to do is use the front camera and press hard on the screen. The minute you do that, snapchat maps your face and below you can select your favourite character. This is my all time favourite!
The best part about Snapchat is that you can see who all have seen your snaps just by clicking on my story and swiping your finger from bottom to top.
And now Snapchat has added another feature called ‘Memories’ where you can save all your previous snaps. You can now also post a picture from your camera on your story or send it to a friend. So now you now how Snapchat works! Go ahead and add me on ayushianand
